Hays Education currently have an Art secondary teaching vacancy for a qualified Art teacher in Maidstone, Kent. We are looking for a Secondary Art Teacher to teach across all key stages for this position in Maidstone, Kent.
This all girls school is extremely popular in the area and therefore is heavily oversubscribed. The school also has a very well recognised sixth form, which also admits boys. There are approximately 1,350 students on roll, with 425 in the sixth form. This school is recognised as being highly successful in the local area.
The successful candidate for this role will ideally have clear potential for fast track promotion within the school as many opportunities may arise with the growth of successful departments. Our Maidstone office is dedicated to servicing schools in the Kent area and over the last year, we have successfully worked with a number of schools in the Kent area to secure a high number of interesting and challenging secondary Art teaching jobs.
We are looking to recruit a highly skilled, qualified, hardworking and enthusiastic secondary Art teacher interested in a permanent or long term teaching job, to begin in January 2010.

The skills we look for in our secondary Art teachers include:
· Qualified Teacher Status either PGCE or Cert Ed

· Own transport is preferable but public transport is no bar to work
