Part Time Rota basis. Includes rota shifts covering early mornings, evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays.

An excellent development opportunity has arisen to play a key role supporting the Hospitality Manager and Front of House services in developing HQ Hospitality’s new food and beverage operations at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford. Roles are available in the Sweet Shop, Coffee Shop, Bars and our new 100 cover Circle Restaurant.

The successful candidates will demonstrate an enthusiasm for providing excellent service to all the theatre guests. You will be required to ensure all guests expectations are met during their experience and you will provide amazing hospitality. Planning and preparation are key for this role as is the ability to communicate efficiently with the Front of House Manager, Hospitality Manager, chefs and other team members to ensure all service standards are constantly met and exceeded. You will be talented in upselling to the guests and motivating the staff that you will be managing to do this also.

We are looking for someone with a great personality to share their passion for the theatre and the hospitality we offer. You will be working in a busy customer facing environment which requires a consistency in customer service, flexibility and being able to work well under pressure as well as being able to cash up for your area at the end of each shift. You will also monitor stock levels, sales trends and be proactive about suggesting new ideas, products or offers to increase sales.

The ideal candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator, have exceptional attention to detail and the passion to go the extra mile for our customers. Experience of working in retail, a branded coffee shop, a bar or restaurant would be beneficial. Previous experience in these areas and the proven ability to manage people within a similar role are required.
