Internal Recruitment Resourcer
Role Purpose: Deliver best in class, efficient and timely internal recruitment activities whilst promoting Hays as the employer of choice in the recruitment market.
Key Accountabilities / Activities/ Decision Areas
Talent Attraction
Priority % of Time- 80
Support the IR Managers and IR Partners to plan recruitment drives and campaigns
Support IR Partners in influencing the business towards a consistent approach to recruitment activities, the implementation of relevant processes and provision of appropriate documentation.
Ensure all vacancies have the correct authority to recruit
Take comprehensive job and person specifications from line managers and agree recruitment process.
Ensure vacancy is sourced internally, where possible, via redeployment, "Accelerate", and "Jobs in Hays"
Promote the internal referral scheme
Place all new job vacancies on the internal job board (Jobs in Hays)
Prepare and place external adverts where required and manage response
CV and telephone screen external candidates against pre agreed criteria
Select and conduct competency based telephone and/or face to face interviews
Deliver shortlist of high calibre candidates to line manager and arrange interviews
Liaise continuously between line manager and candidate through to offer stage, ensuring excellent customer service
Verbal and written coordination of all interview stages including handling rejection letters
Close and cancel vacancies on internal and external job boards
Provide administrative support to psychometric testing activities
Provide administrative support to Talent Attraction projects to improve quality and efficiency of service and support Hays brand and position as an employer of choice
Provide logistical and delivery support for assessment centres, competency based interviewing, recruitment fairs, open days, and large scale recruitment campaigns (eg. Graduate Programme and internships)
Support the implementation of PS Recruitment module and leverage technologies to ensure process efficiencies thus maximising cost savings (e.g. web utilisation)
Actively monitor retention and support employee engagement agenda
Talent Management & Development

Support the "Accelerate" internal transfers programme
Support the implementation of a Graduate development programme and other High Flyer programmes
Provide administrative support to talent processes where appropriate
Communication
Priority % of Time- 5
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and proactively communicate with the business to support the internal recruitment process and candidate experience
Be a credible and enthusiastic ambassador for Hays both internally and externally; raising the profile of Hays as an employer of choice
Work as part of a dynamic and flexible team structure supporting other team members when required. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues, line managers and Business Directors, and develop strong links with the internal HR and Marketing populations
Compliance

Utilise technology to manage and maintain a rigorous audit trail of candidates from application stage through to appointment
Monitor and promote equal opportunities and diversity
Management Information

Provide analysis of the recruitment process via relevant MI
Produce MI as required
Contribute to retention analysis and mapping activities
Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience:
Essential:
Knowledge of recruitment processes and best practice
Experience of high volume recruitment in a pressurised environment
Able to communicate effectively and confidently
Excellent understanding of the recruitment role
Excellent administrative skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
Flexibility
Attention to detail
Desirable:
Sound knowledge of HR processes and best practice
Experience of resourcing
Knowledge and skills in the use of intranet and internet technology
