Up for grabs is my Kitty Hawk M1 Boutique Class A guitar valve head.

This amp started it's life as a combo but i always used to hook it up to different speaker cabinets so i had decided to turn it into a neat looking head instead.

Not many of you will know about these amps (very rare in the UK) so best is to check the reviews on harmony central.

Kitty Hawk gear was used in the 80's by Kee Marcelo (Europe) and Reb Beach (Winger and Whitesnake) name a few.

So what's special about this little monster?

Being a class A all valve amp it can also run on class AB via a switch o the front panel.

It's also is self biasing, meaning it does not need re-biasing after a valve change.

Runs on 2 X Svetlana High Spec 6L6 valves (replaced only weeks ago), and surprise surprise...it can also run on EL34's (has a bias switch if you wish to replace them), output is 60W.

It basically has 2 channels with 2 modes on the distortion which act like an extra crunch channel, comes with footswitch.

Also has built in reverb with the master pot at the rear, the reverb is also switchable.

Cosmetically some pots have lost their front plastic bits etc but does not affect the perfect functionality of the amp.

What else can i say....i have decided to part with it for finantial reasons.

The amp would suit any style apart from thrash metal unless you use a pedal in front of it. Is at home with classic rock tones.
