Deputy home manager required for specialised 23 bed, purpose-built mental health facility in Hackney, London.

Service users are ages 18-65, non forensic and forensic, with enduring mental health needs, many undergoing re-hab.

The care home belongs to a national care provider with a reputation for first class service and opportunities for training and career advancement.

Deputy manager will support the home manager with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the care home, including leading quality initiatives, recruitment, staff training, the orientation of new staff, motivating staff and monitoring performance.

Candidates must have NVQ 4 and a mental health qualification which could be in social care or as RMN.

The successful candidate will be an adaptable team player, who can win the trust of staff and residents who will see you as their mentor.

Annual salary will be £32,000 for a basic 37.5 hour week and 25 days annual leave and a contributory pension scheme. There will be some weekends worked as rostered.
