Kent used furniture / fridge / washing machine
Great British Mobility 2 riser recliner armchairs and one sofa (£1,200)
My disabled father bought these 3 pieces of furniture in August 2009 only this year, and is unhappy with them. The furniture is aimed at people who are disabled and is from the Great British Mobility product range - titled Malvern. The furniture is well built and solid and would suit anyone with a disability / elderly. My father is over 6' tall, and my mother about 5' 3".
Armchair 1 is designed for a person up to 18 stone and has a dual motor enabling it to tilt-in-space, enabling the chair to lift, rise upright and/or recline and has a remote control. It is 20" from seat to floor and 20" wide, 20" deep.
Armchair 2 is slightly smaller and has a single motor but still tilts-in-space again allowing the chair to lift, rise upright and/or recline and has a remote control. It is 18" high (seat to floor height), and 20" wide.
Sofa - seat 8" height x 39" width and 20" high - no motors.
All the furniture is covered in dralon titled "Chartwell Plain Terra".
It is in as good as new condition and is still within its guarantee - all the paperwork is available for you to check.
My parents have simply decided it is not comfortable enough for them. I consider it to be very comfortable but unfortunately as it is designed to give good lumbar support for those who are disabled - and it just does not work for them as they simply are not used to this kind of furniture. A shame as it is an expensive buying mistake for them.
So why not get in contact and arrange a viewing? They live in Tonbridge, Kent
