Field Sales Manager
One of the UK's leading media sales companies, is seeking a Field Sales Manager for the Maidstone, Kent area.
What you'll be doing:
To set and achieve annual and campaign sales targets by the effective deployment, training and development of a sales team who are responsible for the selling of print and online advertising to businesses within a set geographical area.
Main Responsibilities:
Plans
•With the Area Sales Manager develop an annual sales operating plan and annual sales forecast.
•Plan and organise the workloads for each sales market with the Sales Support team.
•Ensure that the sales team are deployed for the most effective option of a particular market.
•Set the sales target for the sales campaign and sales cycle. Monitor and control progress against the targets.
•Achieve all targets for sales campaigns and cycle including productivity.
•Organise and run daily and weekly team meetings.
•Plan and organise the launch of each sales campaign.
People
•Recruitment and selection of sales staff to maintain the team at the budgeted staffing level.
•Train staff to perform their current jobs effectively.
• Identify future potential and implement appropriate training plans.
•Maintain a high level of motivation within sales teams.
Key skills required:
Ideally you will have a demonstrable track record of managing a field based sales team from within a similar business to business environment. You must be financially astute, a good team leader/motivator, a willingness to be creative to get ahead of the competition.
General Benefits Package:
£38,000 basic; £50,000 OTE (uncapped); Company car, and various other benefits.
