I have been reading this Gumtree section for the past few weeks and noticed the numerous fake adverts.

If you spot an advert of interest, you can test if the advert is genuine by highlighting 2 sentences. Copy the adtext and paste the text into the google search box.

If you see a similar advert in another far away gumtree location, the advert will almost certainly be a fake.

To Highlight: Press 'Ctrl' + 'A'.
To Copy: Highlight an area, as shown above, then hold 'Ctrl' + 'C' (For Mac users 'Apple' + 'C').
To Paste: Click your mouse where you want the text pasted, and then press 'Ctrl' + 'V' (For Mac users 'Apple' + 'S'.
