To call this guitar a les paul copy is a bit of an injustice, every Gordon Smith is hand built in England and the workmanship is truly exceptional.

The stock pickups have been replaced by an original Gibson Les Paul pickup in the bridge, and a Seymour Duncan 'pearly gates' in the neck. Both pickups are also coil tapped (opererated by push/pull switches under the voume knobs) which if you do the maths gives you a total of 8 different pickup configurations - the tonal possibilities are endless! (I still have the original pickups)

Condition wise I'd probably give this a guitar 7/8 out of 10. It has been gigged lots so has sustained a few bumbs and knocks (nothing structural - only visual), there is also a fair bit of buckle rash on the back. If your looking for pretty guitar just to hang on the wall and look nice, this isn't it, however if your looking for a truly awsome workhorse of a guitar, then it'll be right up your alley.......to be honest I think a bit of ageing adds charatcter to a guitar!
