Mealworms are the larvae stage of the flour beetle and are becoming one of the most established and important wild bird feeds, high in protein and like all live worms/grubs can make the difference between wild bird survival or not, particularly in a tough winter and equally - in a hot dry summer, when food and moisture can be scarce. Very easy to keep, to stop them turning into beetles, keep them in the warmer top part of a fridge or on a cold garage floor.
Our bird populations are now heading into the breeding season, feeding mealworms, which are a rich source of protein, really does help the birds during this busy and energetic period!.There will be approximately 300 worms for just £2.00
These come packed in containers with food included.
It is preferred that you collect but free local delivery for orders over £5.00 is possible.
