Are you an experienced nursing home manager or deputy manager looking to develop your career?

- We are recruiting for a registered manager for a high quality nursing home with private gardens near Maidstone.
- The service is rated as Good (2 stars) by the CQC.
- The service provides a high standard of nursing care for elderly people with dementia related problems.

Duties

- You will take responsibility for the overall management of the home, including the deployment and supervision of staff at all times, the assessment of nursing care needs, and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of nursing care.
- You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of personalised nursing care.
- You will recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff.
- You will manage the business objectives of the home to maintain full occupancy and ensure the business is profitable.

Requirements

- NVQ 4 and / or RMA or equivalent is essential.
- You must be a registered nurse (RMN or RGN) with a current PIN.
- You must be aware of current legislation and guidelines.
- You should have experience as either a deputy manager or manager of a nursing home for elderly service users.
- Experience of dementia care is essential.
