We are very relucantly having to re-home our golden retriever bitch. She is 2yrs old and she is excellent with children, although not used to very young children as ours are 9 and 13. Very loving and still very puppyfied. Fully housetrained and has never chewed. She does however love to sleep on the sofa. Loves going for walks but is still in need of some training and can jump up people. She has not been spayed, has had one litter of 6 beautiful pups with no problems. Vaccinations are due. Definately mummy's dog and can be wary of strange men. She is fine with my husband and male relatives but it may take time for her to get used to another male. Just come with a few dog treats and she will soon love you.

She gets on fine with our black lab but is not so keen of others, although we are sure this would improve with time, patience and training.

This has been a very hard decision to make and is only being made due to our change in both working arrangements and the fact we are moving house at the end of the month. We currently have a very large garden which she loves to run around and where we are moving to only has a very small garden which would not be right for her so we have decided to rehome her and keep our elderly black lab who is not so keen on running around any more.

She is pure pedigree and did come with papers but we have mislaid them so will not be able to pass these on to the new owners.
