Kent used motorbikes / scooters for sale
Suzuki Gsx750ES many new parts £800 o.n.o. (£800)
Due to a recent accident (me, not the bike) I am now open to offers for this bike, read on because it's well worth it.
1985 Suzuki GSX750 ES. Last air-cooled model before the GSXR's came along. Now quite rare, you probably won't find another for sale.
Currently this bike is on SORN and has been in my garage for 4 years, it's a genuinely low mileage and well cared for bike that my wife used before we were married. It is in bits at the moment but I am slowly putting it back together while working on other projects, the bodywork & carbs need re-fitting but everything else is together.
I have ridden this bike myself and can safely say that it's a good one, no knocks or rattles from the engine, no oil leaks and it rides superbly, revs fast and is quite comfy.
Over the years we have owned it we fitted a sola-larm alarm and Oxford heated grips, I have tracked down a genuine factory exhaust system, which sounds lovely, the seat was professionally re-covered by Digger Customs and has never been used. The brakes have Goodridge braided hoses fitted and the tyres are in excellent order.
The pictures show the bike as it is today. I have stripped and cleaned the carbs and will do the same with the petrol tank then I’ll put it all together and all it requires is a battery and a good dusting.
This machine would make someone a great project or a cheap runaround, either way I will start putting it together and then it’s up to you to finish it off so I want £800 for it & it's well worth it.
NOTE - BIKE IS COMPLETE, TANK, FAIRING & BODYWORK NOT SHOWN IN SOME PICTURES.

The GSX750ES, introduced in 1983 (called GSX750E in Japan), was based on the naked GSX750E. Like its naked brother, the GSX750ES got the air and oil-cooled 16-valve engine with 84 hp (72 ps in Japan). The new GSX750 line was the smallest, lightest and smoothest of Suzuki's 750cc machines so far. Almost everything on the bike was new, including the cylinder head and the frame.
The new 747cc engine shared only the cylinder measurements with its predecessor (63 mm bore, 53 mm stroke. It weigh 16,8 kg (37 lbs) less than the '82 GSX750 engine. Even the exhaust system was made 5,3 kg (11,7 lbs) lighter. The new engine was even shorter, narrower and lower than its predecessor.
The maximum power output had increased from 81 to 86 hp by enlarging the valves, increasing the compression ratio and re-designing the cam shafts, exhaust system and the air filter box.
The GSX750ES had a 16-inch front wheel (100/90-16) for quicker steering and a 17-inch rear wheel (120/90-17). The cradle type frame was welded using steel pipes and profiles and the light alloy rear swing was an oil-damped Full-floater. A top fairing was mounted on the ES model.
The GSX750ES proved to be a fantastic bike for its time. It was sporty, fast and practical. It was easy to manoeuvre and good for speeds over 200 kph. In many countries it was the best-selling Suzuki in 1983. In Sweden it was actually the best selling bike of the year, period.
