Experience the wilderness away from towns and cities, no music, no radio, no television, no telephones and no crime, except the sound of nature. We will enjoy campfires at night and watch the stars. Experience a shower under the open skies; just make sure no lions peep at you. It is possible that we will hear the call of a lion or a jackal or even a gecko.

Me: My name is Lukas, I am a straight white male, aged 51, good sense of humour, responsible and an easygoing person. I don’t smoke, but can party.

The trip: We will be leaving Cape Town in the early morning, stay over the first night in Upington (if we can’t make it to the reserve in time) and the next day we will be in the Kalahari. Daytime will be driving around to watch the animals. We will be retuning to Cape Town on the eighth-day, loaded with wonderful memories.

This is a back-to-basic holiday, as we will be staying in tents, relax and enjoy the wild life. Campsites are not fenced off; we will be in the wild (it is safe). Just bring your own medicine, toiletries, cameras, clothes, a hat and definitely yourself.

I’ll sort out all the local logistics’ (supply food, tents and camping beds, drinks and cold drinks, bookings, etc.), you just get yourself in Cape Town and relax, as I will drive up there and back. I will pick you up at the airport and if needed, book you in at a local guesthouse.
