Development Control Manager is required to join a Local Authority in Kent on a Permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for an individual who has worked in a similar role in the past.
You will be responsible to lead and manage the development control team to ensure that excellent quality development is provided. For this role you will have great interpersonal skills has you will be expected to provide a service and give advice to members of the public, councillors and your colleagues. Other responsibilities will consist of you working with the team members to ensure that staff are motivated and are performing their duties according. You will additionally be responsible for your own caseload of major applications.
Must have a degree in planning or equivalent. RTPI status is essential.
