we are a 4 piece indie band from the medway towns that have been gigging together 2 years. influences include oasis, the beatles, the kinks etc. we mainly play our own stuff but play the odd pub set now and again which consists of a mixture of our stuff and 10-12 covers. looking for:

- a very comitted bassist (between 19-30)thats willing to play 2-3 gigs a month(mainly fri or sat nights)
-some one thats able to rehearse once a week(normally mon or wed evening in ebsfleet)
-. must have own transport.

most our gigs are based around medway/maidstone and play london from time to time however we practice in ebsfleet(which is possibly soon to change when our drummer moves house), ideally we would like to find a bassist that could pick up our songs in the first month or two(but not completely essential, its purely so we can get to business with some more gigs then go from there) we are a decent bunch of lads with some excellent songs and are very patient with new comers so please dont be shy. u can hear our stuff on www.myspace.com/thesemantics128
