Sunil ("Sonny"), where are you??? You didn't come back to see me in Paris. I know that I told you not to but I didn't mean it. I waited and hoped that Saturday night after the weekend that we met but you'd taken me at my word. Now I'm back in California regretting having missed that bottle of white wine we were going to share and all the adventures I was going to take you on besides getting pickpocketed (yes, I'd figured out how to get away). Now you're back to your men's salon in Kent, and your home with your little brother and not strolling the streets of the most romantic city with your Louis Vuitton bag and me. I have only a photo to remind me of those luscious Iraqi eyelashes (and beautiful tattoos for your mom and brother who died- on your arm) and no idea of how to find you.
