Practice Manager
The firm is an expanding tax and accountancy practice providing services for limited company contractors and SMEs.
The job holder will be required to look after 3 offices in the South East (Dartford, Chislehurst, London) and will need to expand on their existing client base and help maintain that client base whilst proactively developing more business, acting as a buffer between the staff and directors.
The successful candidate will be a hands on manager who will be developing high level reviews, specialist tax knowledge while being one point of contact for a small selection of high profile clients which will include doing their bookkeeping, accounts, tax returns etc.
This role will require strong leadership and you will have 10 staff reporting to you.
Staff training and coaching will play a part in your role along with file and staff reviews / appraisals.
Requirements:
QBE or Qualified/part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA)
A competent and ambitious individual with UK practice accountancy experience.
Enthusiastic with a strong focus on customer service and high attention to detail.
Will need to develop systems and procedures across the three offices.
An additional element of the role which is absolutely key will be business development. As you look to progress your career you will need to build a portfolio of key introducers and be comfortable in networking throughout the local environment.
Benefits include 28 days holiday, and a salary between £40,000 to £50,000.
