This is an excellent role for someone who likes working in a small practice but who wants to progress and ultimately help run a firm in the next few years. There is no audit within this role and the firm have a very commercial focus to their business. The office is outside of Canterbury and is easily accessible by train.

With one senior (ACA) retiring shortly and the principal partner looking to take a step back in around five years, you will have a clear opportunity to begin managing the affairs of the firm with a view to potential share-holder status in future years.

The small team all work fulltime and share the work equally. This means that each other is able to cover periods of holiday or sickness and also creates a balanced, varied and interesting role for you.

Clients range from sole traders to a £5.5m turnover business. As the partner has spent half of his career in industry, his focus is very much on providing highly commercialised and profit-led solutions. It is his aim that in time, you would be able to meet clients and provide similar advice, helping continue the firms’ activities for many years to come.

Study support is available and on-going in-house training will be provided. All other staff have been trained in this way and there is virtually no turnover of staff.
